Visiting Sapa can definitely be a highlight in a South East Asian trip. Sapa is the highest mountain area in Vietnam, it’s famouse with Fansipan at a high of 3142m above sea level and a vast area covered by thick forest, rich in wildlife, It’s highest mountain in Southeast Asian Country.Sapa also famouse with great diversity of ethnic minority people: H’mong , Yao, Tay, Zay, Xapho.
This compact program is designed for you to to discover Catcat, Lao Chai, Tavan, Ham Rong…with the great view, and can enjoy the time with many colorful life of minority people. You can sleep in the locals’ villages and feel welcomed allows you to connect with a time that has past and yet lies in all our genetic memories a time when we were truly organic and treated the earth as a God.
Night 1: Be escorted to the railway station for boarding on a 4 – AC – soft sleeper – cabin to travel up to Lao Cai town.
Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van villages (B, L, D)
5.00: Arrive Lao Cai Train station in the early morning. Be picked up by the local tour guide and take 01hour drive to Sapa.
6.00:Leave the luggage in your hotel, then enjoy breakfast and take a shower in a local restaurant nearby. Strolling around the town to fresh up and make friend with friendly H’Mong or Red Dzao inhabitants.
9.30: Start trekking to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages down in Muong Hoa valley. Enjoy the spectacular views towards Fansipan – the highest peak of Vietnam and Indochina. Trek through the villages of Black H’mong ethnic minority to get to know the way they weave and embroider their colorful clothes. Have a break in a local restaurant for lunch then keep going down to enjoy the prettiness of paddy fields and reach Ta Van village where the Dzay ethnic people inhabit.
15.30: Be picked up by private car to get back to Sapa for checking-in. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to discover the town (Dragon Mount, Orchid garden, Sapa market…)
Night 2: Overnight at a hotel in town .
Day 2: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai villages (B, L)
9.30:After breakfast in the hotel, start visiting Cat Cat village. Trek through lush rice terraces towards villages, experience the Black H’Mong’s daily life and traditional culture. Then back to hotel.
14.00: Take a drive to Sin Chai village where Red Dzao people live to learn more about the local culture and custom. Have a good choice of buying woven and textile brocades which are locally hand-made. Pay a visit to one of the local families to experience the true life of the Red Dzao.
16.00: Back to Sapa for a shower then be transferred to Laocai town. Enjoy dinner at a restaurant close by the railway station, then catch the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi
The train arrives Hanoi in the early morning, our staff will pick you up, and escort you back to Meracus Hotel. Tour ends.
